The last produced Karmann Ghia’s have a different speedometer connector on the counter, instead of a screw connection is changed to a bayonet connection.
If your existing cable is in good condition but the mounting cap on the counter is cracked then this part is available separately, which comes complete with an internal spring.
If you have a cable are designed for a screw connection to the correct length for your Karmann Ghia you can replace the existing screw cap with this bayonet version and you have a suitable cable at a low cost.
